Mornin, snails!

So, you know those "higher-end" juices that come in glass bottles with no dropper, and just a cap? I'm an idiot with a syringe...lost close to 20ml of juice out of a 30ml bottle. So sad...it was Mad Murdock's Mellow Melange that I was trying it out for the first time. :p

Have a good day everyone!

What's even worse is when you are traveling and you put one of those glass bottles in a zip lock without the top being secured. Not only do you lose the juice but it gets all over your other ecig accessories. I did that on my last trip to vegas. I was able to save about a third of the bottle, but it was a mess trying to clean the juice off all of my other stuff.

morning.:)

Back from visit to PCP.

WARNING: Prepare for a series of posts chock-full of comments.

But, I'll start with: at -48# since last May. :) I was hoping for a nice round "-50", but I'll take -48. "-50" is where I plan to stop the madness.

Comment #1:
PCP was very happy... but, apparently, he wants to be even happier. He is suggesting a total of -66. I suggested (in thought) he take a flying leap.

Good morning Bear :)

Congrats (?) on the weight loss...

Why the "?"

Why is everybody so suspicious???

Comment #2:
After the weigh-in, the PA asked "is it intentional"??? OK, I get it... there are things that could CAUSE weight loss that may be alarming. So, I asked PCP if there are tests for anything that could/would cause UNintentional weight loss. Aside from PSA and thyroid bloodwork, no... then HE asked "why" I asked. So I mentioned what the PA said. And there is where we end up in an Excel circular reference.

I put the (?) in there because I wasn't sure if you wanted to lose it or not...and you didn't seem to be enthusiastic about losing the 66...

EDIT: I was being cautious, not suspicious :D

Oh, I WANTED to lose it... that why I said I was "hoping for -50".

No... not enthusiastic about 16 MORE after that. I feel that would be excessive. I like some meat on bones. Where I am NOW takes me out of the AMA "obese" category... but that is not saying much because their guidelines are, in my mind, MUCH too stringent. By appearance, I would never have thought myself to be "obese" even before the loss. But unless you're a 30" waist, the AMA labels you as "obese"... 34" and you're "morbidly obese". :: rolleyes ::

PCP Visit Comment #3...

...and I'll try to recall the sequence so Atty will not cry "riddle!!!"...

Walk in, first appointment of the day.
Go up to window, receptionist on other side of glass.
Sign in on the clipboard name, arrival time, appointment time.
Go sit down.
As soon as ... hits cushion, the window opens and I get beckoned over.

She asks, "Name?"
I silently hand her the clipboard (with just a HINT of attitude and eyeroll).
Why do they have the sign-in sheet if not to get that info???
She asks for insurance card.
I hand it to her - it is in a CLEAR plastic cover - she hands it back asking that I remove it from the cover.
With more attitude and eyerolling, I remove it.
She looks at it and hands it back.
Why did I need to remove it???

Now, refer to the blue lines above. I watched as THREE OTHER PEOPLE experienced the SAME THING.
That is NOT a coincidence... that's her little game she plays.

I made sure to mention it to the doctor.
