Does it strike anyone that the "e-cig universe" has leveled off? No major new stuff/inventions. I was hoping for super-battery technology by now. :(

Except for multi-part toppers that are like jig-saw puzzles, not much really new. :/

And what about that FDA stuff? Sheesh! Getting downright "rut"-like in here (ECF).

Nothing really innovative; but China is offering the Seven22 mod - 26650 battery, variable wattage (7W - 22W).

ETA:
I don't see any actual battery tech advances in the near future. Plenty of companies working on it (automotive oriented), so if there had been any major breakthroughs, I think we would have heard about it.

Left vertical sliding-door molding taped and pre-treated for staining. (How many weeks ago was it that progress WAS to be made and/or start???)

Sigh.

I *SUPPOSE* the nail-set holes SHOULD have been puttied flush first. Luckily, a second coat is needed anyway... and it's all on the "hidden" side. Nobody will ever see it unless they are Nosy Parkers.

And on that note....

They STILL have not re-newed my statin prescription (day 2). WTHeck. If they don't want me on it, they should say. If they do, they should renew it. If they are waiting on the new doctor, they should call me. What a joke. This is the "normal" heath care system, even without ACA. It should just get more kinds of fun from here.

I'm hitting the hay. Or chilling out. Whatever.

Goodnight friend snails. Hope you have a good night.

...AND ANOTHER THING....(™)

So I call the pharmacy...they say they faxed it to the doctor and still have not heard back.
So I call the doctor's office. They say (queue sweet receptionist voice):
Oh, that's because we don't accept requests from pharmacies.... The PATIENT has to call [us]. I'll forward you to the automated line. (a voice mail line).

Of course, I just blew 2 days waiting time. Good thing I have one pill left (just a Statin). Had I known, I would have just called them first. I don't let my blood pressure pills get that close to the line. But I have a supply of older statins (and older BP) that I can break up (diff dose).

I won't go into the "Since when do you do that?" part of the conversation. Nor the fact that they don't tell the pharmacy. Or that if they did, the pharmacy doesn't know any better (still). Nor the fact that they don't tell ME anything.

Wow.

'Round these parts, once a script has been given to a pharmacy, the patient has to do nothing. When refills run out, the pharmacy contacts the doctor for a new script. But in your case, it's your MD office's procedure that is really behind the times. I'd make a little noise.
