Semi-spontaneous trek to casino west with gal-pal casino-buddy ex-coworker this morning. I owe her a thank-you lunch for her assistance to/from extractions. She senses "good fortune". I do not (don't fall over in a faint, now). Last two solo visits there were losing propositions, but the last time with her, I came out +$96.

who or what do you think is gonna match up thousands of slips of papers being sent in? the system is overwhelmed now. it can't even provide accurate data transfer of applications to the insurance companies, lol.
Tibs....I already DID that....that's how I got the response back. Basically, the estimate is in. The only two questions are 1) E-cigs and tobacco, and 2) The proof of income thing. I may be able to revise/cancel it if I need to, IDK. Don't worry about it.

Today is "Senior Monday"... so another chocolate "ice cream" in a cup* is in my future! And $15 in "free" play.
I am still very interested how this place is allowed to have smoking areas. Yes, they are enclosed, but New York State law forbids smoking in any public building, enclosed or not. (The exceptions are Native American-run casinos.) I am unable to find information anywhere that explains how it's allowed here. Not that I'm COMPLAINING... I absolutely take advantage of it. But it's still a mystery.
* - Because - apparently - us seniors cannot handle a cone.

The current administration can take their insurance and stuff it where the sun don't shine. Yes I am grouchy. It is sunny and 9 degrees and I'm so sick of the cold I could scream.
Regardless of how well I fared in this ACA thing, I remain adamant it is just a large pile of crap paving the way to where we REALLY do not want to go. It is NOT "reform". It is CONTROL... of US.
Just schlepped the trash bins out to the curb... in the cold and through the snow. Let's you and I, FranC, scream together.
