I'm on Win7 and happy happy happy. I refuse to jump all over the "latest and greatest" JUST CUZ. That is just insanity. I'll go to Win8 (or whatever) when the DESKTOP needs replacing. Yes, the 25-pound TOWER PC mentioned below vvv.
I'm comfortable enough with win 8.1 and it's back compatibility with XP programs, that I'm going to leapfrog to win8.1 for my work desktop.

Blame it on bacteria, Bear. At or above 131 for a sustained period (IDK exactly how long) is ....more sterile/safer. Now, people DO of course water-bake stuff to other temps. But I'm not publishing any temps here below 131. Do your own research on the techniques and safety.
