I thought you were the one who made the virtual gagging noises at the $2.49 / 4-oz Aldi's fillet???

I'm not even sure I've ever been to Aldi's....

I do remember commenting on some pre-packaged stuff that was full of salt-water brine and chemicals, that I avoid if possible. But it's not just an Aldi's type of thing (if that was even what I was talking about). Alas, you can't hardly avoid it these days...particularly with deli cuts. Regardless of store.

... pre-packaged stuff ...

That's them!!! :)

We tried them over the non-grilling season done indoors and the result was NOT good at all. EXTREMELY tough. Actually, I do not think Hus will buy them at all any more. Which is fine.

Time to get out and pick up chair cushions (end of saga - unless chair reconstruction goes badly). No raking today after the 1" of rain yesterday... so I may play "slider puzzle" in the garage. I have to switch the 11 and 15:

The 2, 6 and 8 cannot be moved.

I also get to play that game in the fridge, freezer and basement "pantry". Only with those, it becomes 3-dimensional with the addition of shelves and bins.

don't feel all alone, bear! i gotta solve the same puzzle in my kitchen and beyond! :D where does all that stuff come from? :?:

... i need a ruthless sorter a la bear! :D ...

The secret to successful sorting (and by that, I assume you mean "tossing") is to do it ALONE. It must be done ALONE or else you run the chance of being "guilted" into keeping merdey crap... and then it just gets moved rather than discarded.

Time to put the chairs back together.

We have spices where the company name/address does not have a zip code... it has a ZONE. ie: A local company (since moved away) French's, where the address is "Rochester, NY Zone 09". That is PRE-ZIP CODE!!! (Mustard seeds, by the way.)

Can you beat that?!?!

I will post a couple pictures I took last week to just give you a GLIMPSE into what I'm deal with around here.
