Basically, he's saying that the "trickle down" thing never worked (and proved it with 15 years of data and research) and says the rich-get-richer and it only corrects itself in "nasty times". The general population gets more-and-more disillusioned with "the system"...and forces a correction. So economics can't be separated from social obligation...it doesn't "just all work out" without conscious effort.
That's my 4 line summary....not 100% sure I got it all but, hey, it's early.

so, i found a teensy little silver lining in the proposed FDA regs. Let's see if it works in type as well as it works in my head.
So, even if the regs go as badly as they appear to, the general public won't have a clue. Which means that when i take my (black/grey market) egos and mods out (with black/grey market tasty flavors) and someone asks me about it...i can say "oh this, it's an e-cig. Don't worry, e-cigs are regulated by the FDA"
A couple of friends asked me if i'd seen the news stories about the proposed regs. Yep. The second thing they said was to tell them where and when to write to support vaping.

i figured it wouldn't play out as well in the world as it did in my head. So much for the only bright spot in what has started as a very annoying day. Oh well.

Besides, the FDA thing will probably get refined over the next 2 years, and may lead to better juice quality standards. I just hope...really hope....that it's still approachable by mainstream vendors and affordable. My largest fear is that I'll have to buy all my e-juice from BT in little cartos at $3.00 a pop.
