Tibs, I looked at the amazon e-subscription, and from what little i saw, i can get most of what they'd include for free at my library. I buy a few ebooks, when the library doesn't have a book in a series I'm reading, so it might be worthwhile to check out at some point.

Oh. My mom told me that Jaquiline Winspear has a new one out. It's a stand alone, not part of the Maisy Dobbs series.

My mom also recommended Julia Keller, "Killing in the Hills" and "Bitter River". She also recommended/reminded me of the Joe Picket series by CJ Box.

i ended up with a free 30-day trial today and so far haven't found much on the 'unlimited kindle' worth paying 10 bucks for once the free trial expires
none of your mom's recommendations are included either ................
