I typically make Vietnamese coffee with a phin filter. It's a much quicker and more viable option when you have a hot water dispenser. I wasn't using my coffee maker.

It goes too fast to warrant a decanter. It's not the fancy stuff anyway.seems tim traded his coffee maker for a whiskey decanter!

I'm not sure that most if not all internal (not vented to the outside) vent hoods do anything except spread the smoke/smell around faster.

Good for you Tibs. IDK how THAT works....I think you have to clean those ducts out to avoid fire dangers (like you do a chimney). But IDK how or how often.
