But it was Bear I was discussing here. So.....
Context! Context!

It's a "steel blue" colour... kinda blue/grey... "windowpane" pattern to the knit. Not at all expensive.

I have a picture from a LasOlas Boulevard storefront (Fort Lauderdale, around 1986) that had a table full of sweaters in the window with an "on sale" sign which said $750. Just all piled up like a WalMart clearance table.

I usually encourage the hands from the nurses, mess up the clothes several times, etc................ ;)
 for "Context!"

I think I woke up cranky from the anesthesia???? I was not a happy camper until after I got some water and food. I think I drank a quart as soon as they'd let me have it....

Only Las Olas, and similar places would consider $750 to be garage sale prices.

+1 for Puppy Bowl!
It makes me want a puppy....until I remember they have to be house broken...and walked....and fed...and it would live in my tiny apartment...

Tibs, just an aside...i keep forgetting to mention this...I went to a seminar several months back, and a few people are working on imaging methods that would allow scanning during the procedure for testing the settings on implants, so that they can better tweak them during the procedure. It's been long enough that i can't be sure whether or not Duke was specifically mentioned, but it might be worth asking about possible clinical trials.

Watching puppies makes me want a puppy...but if i could have another beastie i might go for slightly older, cause the older ones have less of a shot of getting homes. For some reason people here also tend not to adopt black dogs or black cats...weird.

...and now I'm gone

Yes... black cats and kittens are not popular for adoption. The shelters here often have "free specials" for them... which I'm against, actually. "Free" animals can very well end up in the wrong hands. I say charge the going rate, but offer a "refund" after presenting a bill from a local vet for their first check-up.
