It has to be rigged. I have been buying precious metals for years, but what is happening on ebay is criminal. Scenario: Five 2014 Silver American Eagles go up for auction and end up selling for as much or more than what you can buy them for from the same dealer at a "buy it now" price. It's going on auction after auction. Why the hell would you pay more for an item in an auction when you can buy it at the same price or less at a 'buy it now' price? (rhetorical question)

I have to figure it's shill bidders. But over and over, I can't be the only one noticing this. Several of the companies are rather large players in the precious metals business.
