To bonsai or not to bonsai... weekly classes (Mondays) 31mar-05may now taking reservations.
Hmmm...
Course + tools + 5 plants + 5 containers + misc = $$$
Don't I have ENOUGH to do in the yard and gardens???
But yet... I'd like to give it a shot. They ARE neat plants.

Some of them take 25-30 YEARS to mature. Will I even be AROUND in 25-30 years?

dinner tonight is a Capriotti's Italian sub. Quite possibly the best sub on the planet, but their cheese steaks are awesome too. They only use primo meats with Amoroso rolls. Heading out to pick it up. see ya,

Been thinking about it since last April at the annual "home and garden" show. I bought two really nice books, too, on Amazon.

At the time, I envisioned three bonsai on low pedestals around the BEAR CARVING... but, well, you know.

I should also start scouring the net for alternatives to the three-footed bears (are you reading this, Cherie?!?! ... is your minion spy reading this??!!).
any bear carvers in your neck of the woods, bear? why not take a picture and ask if they have something similar?
