Atty, I just caught the Dunn verdict....interesting hung jury turn of events. I wonder if some folks will now understand that the justice system can be a little messy now??

Been busy. Only partly watching it in OUTSIDE! forum. lol. BRB. Now I'm all curious....

I haven't been outside in days now. I'm sure I'll catch up when I'm in a mood to handle the conversation... :)
Loud music??????????
Yes...there was a hung jury on the Murder 1 charge, but a guilty verdict on the attempted murder charges... I didn't watch any coverage, but read some of the reporting.

That's the one.
The defense claims they had a gun in the car and pointed it (or maybe it turns out it was something else, but Mr. Shooter didn't know that.)

So not really shot because of loud music...supposedly. But that's how the argument started...music.

OTOH...the shooter left the scene. Acted later as if it was self defense. Acted all "surprised" they arrested him. :/

He looks to be going down for a long time, even with one charge being re-tried.

Florida. And "Stand Your Ground" laws. No burden of correctness. If you "Imagine" you are in danger, you can shoot and explain later. Or so the anti-SYG-law people claim. IDK. The courts get their say in the specifics.

Oh I live here and I'm avoiding that area like the plague.

Oh and this went down in a very nice part of town - about 2 miles from where I live. Just crazy.
