hiya, tweety! since i got up at 3am i was hungry at 10 - going for my nap, laterzzzzzzzzzzz!

I can't even begin to imagine what you snow people are talking about. We have the AC on here. Of course when we have a hurricane, the jokes on us.

Out with a hose hooked up to hot water. Took about an hour to melt away the roof ice around the problem spot. Leak slowed way down, so good. What's coming in is residual from the hot water melt. Tossed a lot of calcium chloride all over the roof and length of gutter. I'll go back out in an hour or so and see if there's any downspout activity. Husbear out to get another 50-pound bag... saying this will be the year "HE" will install the roofline wire. Little does "HE" know, but I will have somebody come out who knows what they are doing.
I guess I need to get my .... in gear and go to the grocery. I absolutely HATE it. It's the worst chore ever. UGH.
Assign that chore to "the other person in the household". That's how we roll here!
Caveat:
If "the other person in the household" has hoarding tendencies, it's not such a great idea. But, you'll never go hungry.
and another flyby! geoff is fed and where i trekked through the snow the last days i can almost see grass - everything else is mostly still white but diminished to an inch or two!
