Hiya Bear, you should be on Linux with you 25lbs of tower. It's so glitch free, and you can really play around with it, but you're right, not a lot of people give a damn about PC's. I'm an addict, as well as Shinyitis, I got PCbug, since about 2000. It's as bad as shinyitis- you just NEED that new CPU, or a Box, or to update your OS...I'm hooked really bad. Linux Puppy.

atty might be your better bet when it comes to upgrade addiction but i'm not so sure about linux now!

weatherwise, it's been like a roller coaster here - we reached 70 today but fran and bear are still in a deep freeze!

It's warm and sunny (or would be if it wasn't dark) here in France, since last weeK. Usually the bad weather crosses the Atlantic to come and say "Hi!" here, but it's sheltered from west winds and rain where I am, by mountains. Hope it stays like that!
Been really bad in the US, for you all, and in the SW UK, with loads of places flooded.

OMG, what we've done to this poor planet and its climate !!! And now we probably won't live long enough for it to right itself...if it does, and doesn't decide to wipe us of the face of the earth. Man, the most destructive animal that's ever lived

At least we vape, no CO2 in that

Hi Starlyte, nice to meet you. This destructive weather that's going on has been going on since the dawn of time; and if by chance we did anything to the climate, for sure as heck there will be nothing we can do about it. Just my 2 cents. Yeah, I know, I couldn't help myself.

I just try to remember that they tried for the tax based system first...was shot down. We're left with this mess. I'd vote them all out...and you know which group in particular.

True. But remember, any aid received through Medicaid the state can recover through the recipients assets once they die. Of course, I'm sure there are those out there that don't give a rat's .... what happens to their assets after they die.
