That's not against your local noise ordinances? "Nice" or not? Or is that just "accepted behaviour"?

A number of years ago, the woman across the road had a graduation thing for one of her nephews... or it may have been grandson... whatever. The main attraction was a Christian rock band. I "dealt with it" until they did a cover of Hendrix's "Foxy Lady", when the words were changed to "Foxy Lord, Yeah". "He's comin'... coming to GET CHA!!!". At that point, the sheriffs were "comin'.... comin' to GET THEM". The concert shut down and the gathering dispersed rapidly. Quiet reigned supreme.

Luckily it's decent bands. I'm not quite sure about the local ordinances, but this is a 'transitional' hood, and the micro-brewery is the reason that the transition is taking off again after stalling when the economy went to hell. That and they decrease the volume by 10pm
