first off i gotta get something with windows 7 - not sure when that will happen. there's only walmart in town and i have no idea what they carry

peeking in - not sure i'll be back tonight. trying to get as much info on transferring files as possible. i intent to leave the laptop running in safe mode in case i fail to log in that way again until i at least back up my most important files. will pick up a new flash drive with sufficient space tomorrow.

Warning: Flashdrives ....slow. Particularly on older machines (USB 3.0 is faster, if the flash supports full-speed USB 3.0...not just supports 3.0 but also can keep up with it. So caution on what you get. See reviews on write speed. It will be handy on the new box if it is a fast flash drive.)

I got Fido out for the last time today. That's why I'm late. He's ready for night-night. So am I.
Was a nice day. 60-ish. He loved looking out at the yard. Good watchdog. Wish he could run around. :/
The good news is warmer weather ahead for you I bet.

We had sun and 46 today. Weather says sun and 50 for tomorrow. Hopefully getting better from there.
