Midnight is a teensy bit too late, unless you get to take a long afternoon nap every day (I like naps. I'd like more of them) .
6pm isn't unreasonable.Unless you're in the eastern time zone...then it's too early for the rest of us. I mean you're usually cooking at 4pm my time, and it's only early afternoon Kat's time.

Oh yeah, CES. They nap in the afternoon, then they hit tapas bars, and then they have dinner...
I'm not sure exactly when they work, though.

did you get more of your plants divided and transplanted:

No.It was so cold and crappy today. We got late afternoon sun and got up to a balmy 46. Just couln't work up the ambition to go dig it up.
Another problem is I have nowhere to plant any more divisions til this deck is done. I have 2 small beds in front of the deck and one beside it. I lost several perennials from the constant freeze and thaw we got. Just as well cause they would have got trampled.
Septic's not an issue but the deck needs to be done. I thought I had lost my Johnson's Blue Geranium to the weather but it has made a comeback.
