I was piddling out looking for the Hosta I wanted and ended up with a red carnation also.
Take that back. If I get the big daylily dug up then I can plant the new Hosta. With a temp cage around it til the deck is done.

Nasty winter. All the freeze and thaw killed a lot of plants. I'll be covering with hay next year.
I can kick myself for that cause hubby asked me if I wanted to get some hay. I lost 5 daylilies alone plus at least 4 other plants. Not sure about the other beds yet.

She lives in CA. You have to feel sorry for her...super "nanny" rules there for EVERYTHING.
