ECF is a good site. I should support it for all the chatting I do, IMHO. Particularly since I'm less active in the newbie/general forums of late.

Speaking of misc animals,
have you ever had pickled herring, Tibs? I just ran across my Grandpop's recipe for it. Requires Holland Herring (salted) though. I remember it from when I was a kid. He died when I was less than 10 so it's a faint memory. However, the recipe looks good. I think he made it around Christmas time and stored it up in jars.
Just an interesting factoid. Pickled herring is good. And good for you too. You don't see many people eating that kind of stuff anymore in the states. Not uncommon in Germany either, as I understand it.
