Supposedly it's only 45% humidity right now. LIES! It's friggin dizguzting out...
We had 72-degree dew point at 88 degrees yesterday after The 5-Minute Torrent. Which caused a LOT of damage only 3 miles from where I live. I was on FB chatting with my casino gal-pal and she was crying as we were typing due to what was going on at her house. Just about all of her gardens ware driven into the ground by rain, hail and wind.
Here, the back gutter - or "eavestrough", as you will - overflowed, cascading water INto the four 22" hanging pots. The weight caused the heavy-duty wrought-iron shepherd's hooks to bend over to the ground. After the Great Flood, I had to disassemble everything... place the hooks on the driveway... put rear tire ON the hooks... and bend them back into shape. Then heave the pots back onto the hooks ... 2 on each. All good, in the end.
So yeah... humidity. I've mentioned my tolerance level before. It was very nasty.
