morning, sniffle, tweety and fran! ;)

the news is out on the new chip and looking good!

It's looking very good. Having said that, I'm even more excited about that dna 25 (possibly with premade coils) that they discussed towards the end of Phil's video. I had no idea that watts (power) is separate from temperature... Heck, with that device I may even be brave enough to try, say, 12 watts?

well, darn it! i can't watch an hour long video - i got a problem with one just a minute or two long ;)

just give me the gist! :D

The gist: Brandon is already shipping stuff (wire? specs?) to commercial coil manufacturers so that premade nickel coils will be available in Kanger and Aspire coils. He also thinks that the next step will be to introduce a DNA 25 or so (cheaper than the 40)--with temperature control--for low wattage people!

It's all good!

thanks, tweety!
well, for temperature control to work coils have to use nickel wire (very low resistance) - much surprised though that the dna25 is still being pursued. heard about it way back and then nothing ;)

sure wish i could watch that video but my connection, out of all days, is worse than usual. us cellular seems to be down and verizon keeps reverting to 1xrtt. i'm barely getting on!

Yep--Brandon says that the 25 watts chip is the next project. The 40 is for the enthusiasts--the 25 is for everybody else. BTW, both Brandon and Phil said they never vape any higher than 17 watts or so. :D

Yikes. It really is an interesting conversation.

that's still twice our rate

wonder if the 25 will have the same foot print?
