It would have to be a BIG mask for Fido CES (OK, not really, it's just a 'token'. I joke.)

Well, speaking of remembrances, they are sending me a clay paw-print. Nice of them. They'll probably need "the big clay-print" mold. lol. Fido was good sized. Also that's the reason I paid for cremation...would have been a large hole. Vet said they didn't like home animal burials as a practice anyway (of course they say that). They will spread his ashes across the pet cemetery. I have no desire to keep the ashes around, I have memories. :)

Anyway....Fido's normal "big mask" was hair:

(((fido)))

yup - no wonder our atty was kept busy with bathing and combing routines ;)

Not as busy as I should have been at times! In his early years, I'd spend about 20/30 minutes per day grooming. After a few years, that wore off. I ended up having him shaved into a "puppy cut" most of the time. Cooler for him anyway. Kept his head-hair long. There was more than one time of needing a full-shave though. (Bad Atty).

It's was easier keeping him neat since I moved. The former location was easier to get "messed up" in. Probably due to the fenced in back yard where he could just run rather than be escorted around.

We have 4 1/2 acres. There is an old old pine tree thats well over 10ft in diameter. About 6 ft from there we have pavers to mark where we have been burying our fettets... Figured it is a nice shady spot to rest year round :)

The holes are small though... Fido would have almost required an entire path or patio

Fido was very, very cute Atty ((hugs))

I have a paw print from John Doe, and a bit of fur, but i haven't really been able to look at them yet.

I helped a friend bury her ferret several years back. That was doable, and very important to her....but not something easy to do her for a big-ish dog.

Flyby and ((((hugs)))) to all of us :)

I have tags in my drawer... Name, address and license number.

Hugs to all of you who mourn your pets.
