It kinda fits (even with my misspelling) ...bells/chirps to signify a trend across smoke alarms in need of battery replacement. I have no ram, but the boy dog is fixed (so is the girl, but that's immaterial to the definition).

I've been up for awhile now. Turns out that i can just barely reach the smoke alarm in my bedroom if i drag my dresser over underneath it.
Even though all the batteries in the alarms were changed just a few months ago, one started chirping at 3am. argh. I kept trying to sleep through it, but it was really bothering the ginger dog. I tried changing rooms, no joy. At 4 am, i finally put the dogs out, moved the dresser and changed the battery (and swept all the fur that had accumulated behind it). By the time i'd finished, it had started raining. poor wet beasties.
i tested the 9V alkaline battery that i took out of the chirping alarm. It was reading 9.6V ? The other battery in the replacement 2-pack metered at 9.1V.
Probably time to replace the detector....

no doubt - my body's a long ways off from adjusting. still wake up my normal time between 5am and 6am which is now extremely early no wonder i can't keep my eyes open comes evening!
