Hanging out in the waiting room of the ("tobacco-free") pre-surgical waiitng room. Mom's in the first stages of prep for her procedure this morning. They'll take me up to hang out with her once she's in her gown and stuff.
(Trying to remember whether AZ has defined vaping as tobacco or vapor product, since it will make no difference whatsoever to whether or not i stealth vape in the restroom)

sending good thoughts for your mom's procedure and don't go overboard with the stealth! 
That's messed up. Can you see it when vaping tobacco is illegal and we'll have to try to convince people that it's something else 
(besides the fact i seem to remember that inhaling oils is not a great idea)

I hate it when we can't vape freely, and I don't like being made to feel like a criminal when I sneak (stealth) vape.

So i took a walk outside....sort of. They have these nice gardens with these huge no tobacco or smoking signs (almost makes me wish i snused). AND they're instituting this pager system to improve communication and contact family members if need be (eve thiugh they have cell numbers).
The edge of the property is out of range. As are the preop areas and the cafe. The pager gives just a few minutes and then starts beeping and telling you you're out of range. If you're in the waiting area why do they need to page you? This is the first day of the pager system. Hopefully they'll expand the range

unc pagers reached pretty far - i know i made numerous trips to the cafeteria which involved taking elevators and long treks down hallways ...............
