We have a lot of snow out there and still have flakes flying around. Lost power last night at bedtime. It wasn't out very long, less than 2 hours. Something very big walked across our front yard not long ago. Big deer maybe but more likely a moose.
Good morning snails and Happy Thanksgiving to the USA gang (and anyone else that celebrates it).
Thanks for working Sniffle, I'm sure there's lots of people in need of your help and I hope they appreciate it. Same to all the cops, firefighters, etc that have to work today.
Moose Fran? lol. Well, at least you have power.
Now that the field adjacent to me has been cleared, I see less deer (Had a doe and fawn running around this year...before the clearing).
Morning,Atty Maybe a moose. Really big tracks and far apart.
Cleaned the front steps and shoveled a path to the garage for hubs so he can get the plow truck. Not good for his heart to walk thru the crap. Got a bit off the front part of the deck too.
Next up is making a path out back to the satellite dish. Then it's clean off vehicles time.
Enjoy the smell of roasting turkey and the quiet of the fresh fallen snow, Fran (glad you're not getting any more right away)
Hope the last minute cooking is going well, Tibs.
Are you going to your GF's today, Atty?
I'm going to a potluck dinner with friends at 6. I'm free until then. This is the first thanksgiving in about 5 or 6 years that i haven't been traveling. It's nice to be home.
We'll send you some Turkey pics CES.
Yes, GF's for the meal this afternoon. Mom and GF have it all worked out as to who is making what, but I'm still making "real" cranberry sauce because I can contribute a little something without stepping on toes and do more than just eating. Besides, it's good sauce.
GF said she stopped at a flower shop, so she already has a centerpiece. I can't do much other than tote and chauffeur.
