Carrier switch would complicate things.

let me restate that. if your phone company offers you a deal like Verizon offered me, there is no question.:) I got a Samsung s4 for free with 2 gigs of data monthly. It only cost me $30 more monthly over the 4 year old non-smartphone I currently had.:)

... playground ground-up-tire stuff ...

Pfft. We had concrete and sharp gravel on the ground.

And things were made of metal and splintered wood. Not that rounded plastic rubbery cushy bouncy stuff.

The steps up the slide (and the hand rails) were round polished metal, not flat with anti-slip tread.

The one "merry go round" (or "roundabout", if you're British) had a bent axle, so one side dug into the ground. A kid accidentally grabbed the underside and had his fingers lopped off. I remember we all went back later to look at the blood in the dirt. It became legendary. That thing stayed there for years afterward and you know what?... not one chopped finger afterward. *WE* learned. Not like kids today.

All Japanese organic cotton pads are pretty much the same (Koh Gen Do, Labo, Muji, Shiseido) and they are all good--they come in neat squares and the cotton fibers all run in the same direction, apparently improving wicking. You can even get a package of all three if you're curious:

Amazon.com : Koh Gen Do, Cotton Labo & MUJI Japanese Organic Unbleached Cotton Top 3 Brands Set (5pcs x 3) (15) : Beauty

There is a new material called Fiber Freaks (some kind of cellucotton/rayon) that is made especially for vaping. If you look at the Taifun GT II video (around 26 min) I linked earlier, you'll see it in action. The presenter thinks it wicks ultra schnell. :D

From France ... hmmm ... think I'll stick with the CVS rolled cotton. Especially seeing as how I still have 3/4 of the one-and-only box bought remaining. :D

<-- Hates crazy cell phone data prices and crazy contracts.

For less that $30.00 per month, I get internet through Comcost and > 250 gb of data for my DESKTOP (well, the whole house really).

Have had Tracfone for 10+ years - don't use much if any data on the Android phone I now have (wifi at home works fine for me). Accidentally put $60 on the phone a few months ago (meant to only put $30 on it); that should last me through to at least next year through most of the coming year.

I was on Comcast's 'pre-order' list way back when they first started rolling out internet service - have had more trouble with the wireless routers over the years than the Comcast service.

Just sayin' :smokie:

Not much of a reply from me, because your post didn't address the nickel issue at all...........
