Heya Pepper. Hope you're havinf fun in the newbie forum

Weather is grey, but at least it's not cold. :)

I don't go there often, but I saw rdna 30 in the title for the new members forum. I had to go read. It baffles me that anyone would suggest a newbie to get such an advanced device. but yeah, I did have fun.:)

Mostly because some people like to talk about themselves and their favorites (or just like to show of)--without paying attention to who the new member is and what his/hers needs or skill level might be. It used to be "get a Provari" and "get a mech and an RBA and build a 0.2Ω coil." Now it's "get a dna 40 and build a nickel coil."

Hello Snails!

Gotta work, so this is quick hello!

Have fun.

and ~~~~~ @ that tweety ;)

but where is it written that everybody has to work their way up the way we did? :?: the atlantis with nickel coil is available for purchase to go right along with the rdna40 ;)

did y'all start with a horse-drawn carriage when you learned to drive? :D

I actually did! I'm a horsewoman, as you may remember. I rode horses and could handle any horse-drawn carriage with the best of them before I was even allowed behind the wheel. ;)

But you're right--they don't need to start from the beginning. My point is that the DNA40 technology is still in its infancy--it's largely untested in the real world and very expensive. This will change very soon--the bugs will be fixed, the coil-making videos will be abundant on YouTube, stock nickel coils will be examined and dissected and improved--and the prices will come down.

I didn't mind being an early adopter when we were using cartos--God knows I bought and tore apart every cartomizer ever made. But for 200 bucks a pop, I'll let somebody else do the testing and go through the growing pains...

I'm paying two tuitions.

It's not written, baby doll. And I do mean baby doll!!!:D It makes a lot of sense to go into something you don't have much experience with slowly. The price of an mvp2/I-stick and a protank is minimal, even if you decide to go for an advanced device shortly thereafter. Tweety's on my side, so there is no reason to argue the point. We're right.:)
