Y'all probably don't remember (and that's a true statement) but we met 4 years ago on 1/9. I had my turning party, but was unavailable because the National Championship was being played that evening... and of course I was watching it. I signed on after the game and saw all of these wonderful comments on my turning. The rest is history. I never left. Anyways, the National Championship is tonight at 8:30 and I'm leaving again to watch the game.

Nah. Just the usual old car stuff, combined with stupid part-ordering-methodology. I'd take that over a sick pet any day of the week.

I was hoping to get it done today. Now IDK depending on parts. :/
But I'll survive. Absolute worst case is I have to sell the thing on e-bay and order the right part. So maybe take a $10.00 hit + time. Meh
You probably know how it goes...impossible for you and DH to be in business that long and never had a wrong part. It happens, so you know too. Although I'm sure you wouldn't have made this dumb-.... mistake. But you live, you learn.

Atty we've gotten many wrong parts from the parts store. Frustrating to sat the least.

Yeah, this was my fault though.
So I'm ticked at myself.

The good news is I was right about the pump being bad at least. When I pulled it off it has slop in the shaft so I know the inner seals/bearings are toast.
The bad part is these things aren't in stock, so I have to have them shipped to home or store. Either way...delays.

I think I'm going to follow Pepper's and Tib's lead:

Call it an early night, and grab a beer and chill and hit the hay early.

Atty, rough day. On the optimistic (?) side, -8 degrees with breaking water mains and sinkholes is not the time you want to be driving around anyway. Stay warm
