"James, he pretty much started crying in the car and I was like, ‘James, you can't do that. You'll make me cry too,'" said David Fischer Jr with Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights.
The 21 miles a day on foot began 10 years ago when his old car broke down. Still, Robertson never missed a day of work.
The Taurus donation is on top of $311,000 given to Robertson through GoFundMe, a crowdsourcing site.
Wayne state student Evan Leedy started it.
The local news here had a story on him too. His daily trek, since the buses don't run most of the way. He starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends around midnight and sleeps and starts over again the next day. Some of the distance is on a bus route, but much isn't.
Good for Leedy too.
