-11 for us tonight..................
I've been making soup in the crockpot for the past two days; broccoli cheese the other day, then chicken noodle; and would make another but have these two soups to hold us over for a bit.....nothing like a hot dish of soup to warm the recesses of whatever is cold.
Think I'm gonna make some more anyway and freeze it.
good for you, mad!
gracie, today and tomorrow there's no concern with the temp, just the snow. it'll be around 20. wednesday's and thursday's lows are the problem - night time temps dropping to zero. the advice i got was to pack his shelter with plenty of hay to entice him to stay out of the elements which i did. instead of his usual portion there's 3 bales of hay in there now. i will also check on him several times per day to make sure all is well![]()
Mmmmm! Broccoli cheese sounds delish!
Must you always try to outdo me?![]()

On another note, since I'm not doing much today, I've been observing the eagles nest w/the eaglets.
It's cold in Georgia too, and you can see the snow starting to accumulate on the branches, and hear the wind...

If you wait till feeding time, you'll see the two chicks being fed by mama.......it's almost time, I believe!
No, eagles do not regurgitate! They put chunks of food right into their mouths.
