I have no idea Tibs, I just remember talk that the the two owners were related (and i haven't bothered to look it up recently, i'm just spreading unsubstantiated gossip) , and had some kind of non-compete, so that if your area had an Aldi's you wouldn't get a Trader Joe's. Though that might be changing, since we have a couple Aldi's in the area, but we may be getting a Trader Joe's.

My masks (along with 200 other masks) will be on sale at the Dia de los Muertos event this afternoon/evening. The funds go to defray costs for next year's masks and stuff. I'm lazing around this morning because there's a vape meet in the early afternoon, and then the celebration. I do get in free and i have a t-shirt (plus the fun of making the masks)

I don't think i'm going to spend very long at the vape meet meet. I usually help sign people in, which gives me something to do. Other than seeing a few people (like Sniffle, who's probably gonna be at work) there's not that much there for me, since I'm not into rebuilding or chasing clouds, and I'm fully stocked on hardware and liquids.

Then again, I could take the rba that sniffle sent and learn to rebuild it....but i may wait for one of the sunday afternoon rebuilding sessions at the nearby vape lounge. That might be easier.)
