Poor Mad. Will it ever end?
G'mornin, snails!
Looks like I'm suffering from a bout of cellulitis. Luckily, less than 36 hours later, it's under control. When I was much younger, I never truly appreciated the fact that I had a General Surgeon & Practitioner available in an instant. With everything I've gone through since last June, and considering what "Healthcare" has turned into over the past 20 years, I consider myself one of the luckiest SOBs in the world.
Good question, Pepper. I pretty much accepted a while ago that it may not until it's either time for a full knee replacement or cybernetic limbs are affordable.
I just got thru with a case of cellulitis. 10 days of antibiotics.
who knows? maybe in the near future they will be able to print you a knee on one of those 3-D printers. it's amazing what is being done with them now.
10 days...yeesh, I hope I don't have to take these horse-pills for that long! I've seen 3D printed casts; a 3D printed splint would have been a welcome thing. But I think weight is part of why old school plaster is still in use...it does a darn good job of keeping you immobile!
I've never had to take antibiotics for more than 4 days, for whatever reason. I guess I just expect this thing to be gone right-quick. Part of the reason for my "rush" is that I don't want to be taking them when I go to my checkup next Tuesday; I don't want my orthopedic surgeon to have any reason to withhold my green light to start driving again.![]()

That Tweety Bird was in here causing trouble last night. She only tawt she taw a Peppa.![]()
