There is no date to "get right". And it's still unavailable due to "maintenance".Big 'ol dutch oven 'o chili a-simmerin'. Enough for 3 meals here AND a decent size pot to give to Dad.
Crime-Warner sent a notice of 2015 price increase on Dad's service (that he gets as part of Christmas). +$15/month. Nope. Called and ended up with same 2014 price PLUS HBO PLUS Cinemax PLUS Showtime PLUS some other premium movie service for 12 months. That gives me plenty of time to see if DISH can get a signal at his place now that some offending trees have been removed and they're using a different satellite(s) since he moved in 2005. Hus' Mom was able to wrangle $29.99 for 24 months.
Speaking of DISH... had first run-in with sloppy snow buildup on new dish. "Complete Signal Loss". The installer said it will happen because the new orientation is more horizontal than before. So, guess we'll just keep the stepladder and broom right out there.
Our road and the big hill are nasty slippery but the highway was ok. Still raining and it's still 32. The trees are icing up now.
