i wish there was a good answer for the insurance questions, but as long as there's lots of money to by made by big businesses that don't give a :censored: about actual people then i don't see it getting better.

I don't actually care about the political labels that the predators are given...the meanings of those labels change over time ( I feel like we're living in Orwell's 1984) , and are used to keep people from researching, thinking and acting. And there are very few non-predatory politicians, ideologues, or businesses on either side of the manufactured divide.

And therein lies the truth of it all.

Very profound. I also tire of it. I guess this is a better discussion for OUTSIDE! than here. So I'll mostly abstain for now. Just note that I don't agree that progressivism = communism and that they hate individual rights (reference to Pepper's post). As with all things, there's degrees and such blanket statements are overly simplistic. My individual rights have been assaulted by the conservatives in modern times more than by the liberals. I dare anyone to call Canada or the UK communists and get away with it.

Good morning snails. :)

If you are into candles, I'm told one of the best smelling is from Bath & Body Works, Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. I ordered one yesterday off of amazon as a gift for my mom for Christmas. I think I am going to give it to her on Thanksgiving Day because I can't wait until Christmas to find out how good it smells.:)

Weather permitting I'll be in a Bath & Body Works store next week. I'll have to give the candles a sniff or two.

    Yankee candles for me

I burned Yankee candles for a long time in the past. Then one of hus' co-workers became a "Scentsy" seller and I gave that stuff a try. I probably won't go back to candles. The "melts" (and I'm sure Yankee stores sell the stuff, too) are pretty damn good. And if you like candle light, you can simulate it with those cheap LED votive candles. Just cut a small square of plastic wrap, "float" it on the melt and then place the votive on top.

I have a half dozen or so partially-used Yankee jar candles... you want them?!?! :)

Use them up,Bear. Too hefty for shipping. I have several candles, large down to voltive. I also have the tart warmers.

    HEY TIBS!!!

That annoying F5 problem went away. I decided to actually buy a new PHYSICAL Norton package ($39.99 versus $97.xx for this year's auto-renewal ... what is WRONG with them?!?!). I had a choice during install to just "update" or do a wipe-and-reinstall. I did the latter. Last week. And the F5 thing has stopped.

    Just FYI.

    PS:
People rant and rave and carry on re: Norton, but I have not ever had a major problem with it. I don't know what some people do... oh... yes I do! They veer off "default" and try all kinds of fancy configurations and modifications then SCREAM when things go wrong. That goes for other software as well. Guess that's just how I roll!... DEFAULT... boring and predictable and non-spontaneous.
