Good morning Tibs, Fran, CES, Pepper, snails.

Snow continues, with sunshine predicted for tomorrow and followed by freezing rain transitioning to rain on Saturday and rain on Sunday.
That's not a good thing. The rain doesn't have anywhere to run off to with all the snow. And if it doesn't stay warm, it ends up creating a lot of ice. Ice on trees and power lines. Ice that you can't plow/move.

Gonna be interesting. We have over a foot of snow on the ground, have had 2 feet of precip snow. And there's drifting. Gonna have to get over to GF's and haul the snow rake out I guess. And then borrow it ;)

Sigh.

Get busy with that snow rake, Atty, but stay safe. Good luck with the snow/thaw/free cycle.

And gotta love the FDA Gilead Buys Shortcut For FDA Drug Review For $125 Million : Shots - Health News : NPR

unbelievable - the fda dangling vouchers in front of companies to encourage drug development for 'neglected' diseases and making those vouchers transferrable!

The Knight sale sends "a great signal to investors in small companies that are developing drugs for neglected diseases," Ridley said. It's becoming easier to put a value on a voucher, he said.

Separately, the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee approved a bill Wednesday to add Ebola to the list of neglected disease for which a voucher could be given to encourage the development of new drugs.
