what horrible news, ces - i'm not a fan of atvs and always held my breath when the boy and his cousins were riding.
as to fence lines - we walk them but then it's just 15 acres and i understand some properties are just too large to do it that way

the flashing in my eye has stopped but i will take it easy today ;)

The cord wasn't severed, but may have been bent in a u-shape. :shudder: I don't know if he's on a ventilator or not, but apparently the paralysis involves both arms and legs. They are waiting for the swelling to go down to see what the full extent will be. i guess the projection yesterday was at least a month in ICU. To me that sounds very, very fragile.

Add hills at the edge of the fence and riding an ATV there gets even worse.

A rest day sounds like a good plan, Tibs.

    Hope the headache stays away,Tib

So sorry about your friend's brother,CES. My son-in law's spine was curved into the u when he got hit by the tree a few years ago. Nothing they can do about it. He is still logging though he can't cut anymore. Paralyzed from the waist down.

A few years ago son's of 2 different friends died riding snowmobiles in two different incidents. Both at night and both rode into gates that were supposed to be open.

    morning, pepper ;)

ocular migraines do not necessarily include headaches ;) - in my case it's just the vision disturbance, no pain involved but very distracting!
