Sorry to bum you out Pepper. It will get better. Time is guaranteed to pass. Next month you'll be all "Hey I just got my whatsis and it's vaping great and IDK what I was all worried about. I just bought a 'micro-brew of the month club' subscription for Christmas instead."

micro-brew... I'm feeling better already. Unfortunately, not until Friday.:( But I am picking up some Dominion, Candi Belgian Triple. 10%ABV.:)

I don't believe it was necessary to laugh.:( This is a Poor Pepper moment.:glare:

Tibs, isn't there a box mox I can get that is relatively cheap that will run a sub ohm atty? Ipv2, segeili (sp). Isn't there a 50 watt box mod? Anyone?:)

Please remind me again why you have to have a mod that that can support sub-ohm coils right away. Why can't you use regular coils while you wait for your VS?

Yes that and conflicting stories or no story. My gut is starting to tell me to get my $$ back and run. IDK. I'm going to think it over tonight.

Not a bad idea--to think things over, that is. :D

VS rDNA seems to be a great mod. But there will more mods like this on the market come 2015.

Just don't blame me if you grow a third arm out your back or whatever while cloud chasing. ;) There's a very-contentious Japanese report about high-watt vaping producing nasties worse than cigs. Highly debated as to accuracy though. However, "more watts = more risks" seems to be a natural assumption. Then again, light cigs didn't turn out to be much better so who knows.

Those studies are flawed (the Japanese and the formaldehyde study). Dr. Farsalinos and others have spoken on the subject.

However, there are dangers and unknowns associated with high-wattage vaping. Enter DNA 40 technology with temperature limitation. :D

lol. I'm feeling better now. Vapor Beast has the Kanger sub tank on sale now and for the cheapest price I've found, $45 (discount code: yeahbaby). I bought it a few minutes ago.:)

I don't need anything now. I was set-up and ready to go with my new vaping supplies, and now I have to wait.:D I guess the 1.2 ohm coil that comes with the tank will work with my provari 2.5. If not, I have some 28 gauge kanthal I can build an atty that will work.

You never know, I could be one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to wait until January.:glare:

Right on.

If you like high-wattage vaping, the DNA 40 technology is the way to go, IMO. You'll get it soon enough and you'll be happy with it. In the meantime, practice your nickel coil winding skills. I just read somewhere that peeps are twisting nickel and kanthal wires together and it apparently works with Evolv's temperature sensing. :D

Buying just any high-wattage mod at this point is just plain, sheer tomfoolery (sorry, Catt! :))
