Good morning Fran, Tibs, CES Sgt & Atty

According to one of the F/B groups, some idiot flying on Southwest airlines went into the rest room and vaped and it set off the fire alarm. The pilot executed an emergency landing, and the idiot will possibly face heavy fines.

To be sure, this gal will be puttig all her vape gear in checked baggage tomorrow. I'm nervous about that, too, cause I have a lot with me. Been gone almost a month, so I was prepared.

must have been one of those sub-ohm people ;)

morning, gracie! and i'm off!

it must have been because I've vaped in the restroom before without incident. Although, if it's a night flight, i'll do it in my seat.:)

I saw that Gracie. argh. But don't check your batteries on your flight home- they need to be in carry on baggage. It's fine to have your PV stuff on the plane. Just don't use it.

I'm all for ignoring uneforceable anti-vape rules...but since complying with airline regulations is a very enforceable federal regulation, it makes no sense to vape on a plane. I use nic gum for plane flights.

never mind.

Pepper, you can stealth vape on a plane if you choose to. To me it's not worth the risk. Stealth vape in the airport- sure. I do that every time i travel by air.

I knew it was coming. that's why I said never mind. it's never really been an issue for me not to vape while traveling on a plane. I have a 808 battery that I've used to stealth vape on the plane, but only a few hits. thanks.:)

lol. And Grrrrr at the same time.

Just got another call from one of those "Technical Support Departments" (with an Indian accent) claiming they need to "fix" my computer. I usually hang up on them. I've gotten two or more calls a day some days. Grrrr.

This time, I just let her talk for about two minutes, answered some stupid questions Them: "Is your computer running slower than when you got it?" Me: "Why NO! It's faster now." etc. I ended up getting hung-up on, when I asked "And exactly what company are you from?".

Taking time with them ups their phone bills. Maybe they will wise up and take me off the list as "too expensive to call, he just chews up our time."

Sigh. Low life scum bag call-center scammers.
