Hiya,Atty:) Toes are warned and back has recovered. Hope the repair is going well..........

Old pump is out.
New pump is in.
Everything reconnected.
Engine started. No leaks so far. However, I think there's air in the system so I have to purge it all out yet.
Had to stop for dinner. So will probably finish tomorrow by purging coolant/air. (Dark out now).

Looks good so far! :) We'll see.

So do you use a higher wattage/voltage with a lower ohm?

Wattage. And often multiple coils, although not always.

Basically, used on mechs mostly, until recently. There's now high-wattage regulated devices...didn't used to be. They would make real low ohms because they can't adjust the voltage on a mech. So to get high watts, they need low resistance. (Watts = voltage squared divided by ohms...and voltage is "fixed" on a mech. It's just battery voltage which drops with use.)

Now, ask me "why high watts?".

IDK. Normal watts work just fine for me.

Finally home to start my 3 day weekend. Dinner's in the oven, cats are fed and now it's time to relax!
Now going back to this ohm/wattage stuff. Why do my juices taste burnt if I'm using a 1.5 ohm attomizer on a Twist, with the voltage set up the max? I thought that's how it was supposed to work?

It's too hot.
Just start at the LOW setting, and dial up until it's good.

Any "nasties" are produced when the coil gets too hot, not too cold. So if you're in this for your health, stay on the low-but-works side of things.

Want the math?

OMG, NO! Math makes me sad. ;)
