The French toast was good today. Oven style. Worked out well.

Then, I found this article:

However, I like the French Toast much better. ;)
Although, I've been informed through research, that the French do NOT put French Toast in the oven. Then again, neither do most American home cooks. However, it turns out to make a great difference in the custardy center getting cooked well and staying fluffy

Good point Gracie. However, it begs another question: How do you know "how you like it" if you've only tried it pan-fried? You have to experiment with stuff, particularly if you can use the internet and benefit from the experimentation of others. ;) So, I like to try new stuff. :)

I now have 2 ways to make it. 1) "Normal" way with that "fluff" we call bread and 2) Baked and custard-soaked with "real" bread...I had leftover French Loaf.

Both work.
