this is great news--not! I was just watching a video on the kanger subtank. apparently the insulator material used for the positive/negative post on the rba is made of silica. The guy in the video was showing how some juices, or at least the juice he was using, is breaking down the silica and mixing with the juice.

Could be chemical reaction with juice. Sure.

The only thing I'm confused about is that he says it's the only juice he likes and he'll continue to vape it.

So....has he tried other juices to make sure the same thing does NOT happen?
Is it the heat, or the juice, or what?
He thinks it's the "tank cracking" types of juices. Probably so. So don't use em for now until they fix it.

definitely not using. I can still use tank with the pre built coils, just not the rba section. This is why I try to stay 2 steps behind.... because by the time I catch up all of these things have been worked out.

Good morning Fran, Tibs, Atty and Pepper

I saw a thread about the seals as well...it needs to be addressed but he can either switch flavors or tanks, or both....are we sure that the seals are silicone? IIRC, silicone isn't very reactive. Perhaps it's some other type of plastic, like the tanks that don't like liquids made with certain alcohols.

I haven't had any problems with the seals--no leaking, but I have read about others having problems. it's the insulator for the negative/positive post on the rba section. I'm not using it, regardless, at this time. I guess I'm going to order another lemo drop today. I need at least 2 tanks in my rotation.

good morning, chris.:)
