lol @ that atty!there's nothing flaky controlled in the istick - it is pulse width modulated like most mods on the market. yes, it reads the mean output but that shouldn't be a problem if you start at the lowest setting
Why do you guys keep complaining that it burns stuff on the lowest settings? And complain that you can't set it lower?
i haven't had a single problem using bdcs - as with all the others there really is no step-down and with a fully-charged battery and an iffy read-out people tend to get confused. i got mine set to vv and i stay at the lowest setting - works like a charm

I've had absolutely no problems at all with my I-Stick running anywhere from 1.8 -2-2 ohms. I rarely exceed 6 (i-Stick) watts.

Friend took the roof rake to the deck roof and got as far as he could reach. Been too cold to slide. He did hubs lean-to out back too so it doesn't collapse on the new wood splitter. Such a pain.
Reading back over all the posts. Yes I am in VV mode an yes, I have it at the lowest setting. I tried 2 different juices with the BDC coils and they were both terrible. They are both fine in the GS Air tank. The only one that works okay in the Aspire is the cappuccino. I'm perplexed. 
Lost, sorry if I can't help you with that dilemma. I'm sure the answer is quite simple, but we've not been able to pinpoint it yet.

3V, 5W and 1.8 ohms.
That's the lowest that the I-20 will go.
that looks about right for the 1.8 ohm coil - maybe you got a bad batch of bdcs?

How the heck does 5 watts power a 1.8 ohm dual coil??????????? (2.5 watts per coil)
Those BDC's must be something special.

I'm using one of them on my ego right now but with the cappuccino in it and that juice is fine on the iStick too. I'm trying to remember if I tried any of the other juices on my ego in the Aspire tank. I don't think I did. I guess I'll just save the Aspire coils for the cappuccino juice... It's just weird.

No. Brand new coils. Let them sit after filling and primed them before firing them up. I don't get it either.
