i did i might have to make the trip down to the barn twice tomorrow but for now he drank a good amount of water and should be set till tomorrow morning since his bucket should not freeze till about midnight, i hope
learned something new too - geoff likes his water warm
first snow squalls have been through - time to start supper!.

Fingers crossed that we all do well with the next bout of cold. Glad Geoff is settled for the weather. Temporarily warm water and all.

So, I am in an excellent mood. Lab equipment is all moved and I'm partially unpacked. That's a good thing, but not why I'm stoked. I found out today that i won a teaching award. It's the "President's Award for Excellence in Teaching" (university president, not US president) . One faculty member from each School of the university receive the award (eleven total) . I've been in a smaller school, but it means a lot that they still awarded it to me even though I'm switching departments. Gonna go celebrate in a little bit.

Sounds like a good plan to me...though that depends more on getting funding rather than teaching excellence.
