Two people "liked" sick kitty post. :?:

i didn't like the post, bear :( - i 'liked' it to keep track of what's going on ......

maybe i can make rhyme or reason out of those missing posts if i see between what posts they occur if/when it happens. i'm going to try and mark each and every post with a 'like' as i see it

Even until Thursday he was his rambunctious and devilish self. VERY sudden, one day fine, next day not.

Back to dinner prep.

don't think the worst yet, bear! at 12 cats are just in comfortable middle age! the only worrisome thing - preexisting kidney problems :(

I hope your kitty feels better and that you can get him to take some food and water, Bear.

Glad your house is coming along well, Lost. Your lap pup is wunderful.

Yikes, Atty. glad the quake wasn't worse. Disconcerting.

Enjoy the fight, Pepper. I haven't any interest in it at all, but sheesh there's a lot of money tied up in it.

Hope your leg feels better, Fran.

Glad your having a pretty day too, Tibs.

Are you still enjoying your grandkids, Gracie?

Waving at Mad, and Katya, and Skorp, and Catt, and Dale, and Classy just in case they come by after my flyby.

(and I know that probably i STILL missed someone)

Went to work, met some friends for brunch, de-furred the house, did a teensy bit of weed-pulling and re-potting and will now retire to the back deck to read and relax. Enjoy the rest of the beautiful day y'all :)

We/I as well. He's technically a "senior" (12) and I know all about cat kidney problems. And if off food
for too long (2 days now, and water) it can develop into liver problems. Neither of those two are any
kind of good news and just about always fatal in the end. But, we won't know anything until Monday.
I went for "the works" today except x-rays. Hus had to have a script filled at the pharmacy... now I have
to figure out how to break a TINY whole pill into fourths.
Did you know there's such a thing as pill cutters? I have one myself. Best of luck with kitty. I hope everything turns out for the best. Is he home with you or at the vet?

I had the same thing happen to one of my cats. Not really even a "senior" at only 9 years old. One day he was fine, the next day, gravely ill, the day after that, he was gone. Nothing to do with his kidneys either. He had become severely anemic for some reason. It was sudden, swift and heart breaking. :(

He's home.

The pills split nicely. VERY small pieces. Just gave him one with an eyedropper of water.

Mirtzapine. Human anti-depressant, pet appetite stimulant. 3.5mg every 2 days.

Kids.

He's behaving like he WANTS to bring something up, but can't. And it's laying him low.
