flyby SUG y'all

Howdy everyone. Finally heard from dad. Mom is doing fine but still in ICU, with limited visitation. I'll be going to see her when she gets out of the hospital to help with her recovery at home.

Glad to hear mom is doing good Lost.

TTFN!

Thanks, Skorp. I wish I could be there with her, though. :(

As difficult as it it, you'll do more good when she's home and she really needs your help (i'd be having that fight with myself too though) . Will they consider sending her to a short-term rehab to regain strength before sending her home?

Heya Mad and Skorpios :)

CES, I don't have any idea what the plan is for when she leaves the hospital. I have gotten very little information since she has been in. It is very frustrating for me because I know she is in no condition to have a conversation with me and my dad is not the best at communicating what's going on. I have to constantly contact him to extract information from him in order to stay updated. I know I I'm not needed while she's in the hospital, but it would be nice to be more informed about her condition.

That has to be even more difficult. You are needed. It's just that realistically you can only be there for a given period of time, and you have to choose the time where you can contribute the most.

Is it possible to ask your father to put you on the list of approved contacts so that you can call the hospital directly to ask for information? It sounds like you'll have to be the one initiating contact anyway, but it would be nice to be able ask questions of medical personnel. ((hugs))

Congrats Gracie!

Hope you're enjoying the day Fran.

Back to work for realz now. Later

CES posted what I was thinking, so couldn't have said it better, Lost

She'll need you more at home, but I know you're anxious to be with her.

Both bowling lunches are over with now, and prize money took me to the bank! :) :)
From bowling? Wow! You must be quite the bowler! Congrats!
