Morning Snails.

Saw a little sunshine on my way in to work this morning so I know it's still there. Trying to find some motivation but coming up short. I don't want to be at work today.

Somehow yesterday one of the horses managed to get his blanket off. We found it buried under about 2 inches of mud and muck in the middle of his pen. Took it to a local car wash to hose it off (no way that was going in the washer) and found he also shredded the inner lining. At least the outer shell is still in good shape so we can wail until the weekend to get another. He sure is hard on them. this one lasted almost 5 months (mainly because we didn't have to use is as much).

... oh... and the check is for $5.00 MORE than the deposit. What an imbecile!!! That is
going BACK to him with a note I don't take charity. The trash.

So, Tibs... about this ^ ...

...I believe you are (or were) in some business. Is excess in a refund some kind
of secret code?... like a veiled bird-flip of some sort? I know magicians have a
code of honour where they will never reveal another magician's trick, so maybe
you can't tell me. But I'm taking that extra 5 bucks as an off-handed " :censored:
you".

HOWEVER... I could use that 5 bucks and have a good time with @AG51 !!! :) :D

So maybe it's all good after all!

Morning skorp :)

Wish I could see these horses of yours, I grew up with horses and love them dearly :)

Hi Dale - I promise to post some pics when I get home. In the meantime, this is Beyley, the blanket destroyer:

Thanks all - I grew up around Thoroughbred race horses and theses Arabians are a whole different animal. My favorite breed is the Friesian however.

To be honest, we don't actually own any of the horses I work with, most belong to our equestrian club's riding instructor and her daughter. We have a full lease on Beyley so we consider him to be ours.

@tibs - from what I've seen donkeys can be a handful. I just can't handle their bray
