Maybe try sous vide.....
If he likes it "not bloody"...aka overcookded...it's the only way so it isn't as chewy. Also good for tenderizing and cooking a thick steak to perfectly done.

Although, maybe YOU should check the sous vide cooking then. Will stay juicyer.
