We've cleared 15 mil already ... humpf!
I know that some of you have been reading the thread I started in the Outside regarding bringing some rules back. Part of the reason for that has been my own bad behavior. If I am truly going to step up, then I must apologize to the people in this very thread. I have participated in some nasty behavior because I was hurt by what Silver Bear said. I would like to openly apologize to all of you. Your thread keeps you all connected in ways that we fail to connect in the Outside. Guess I am a little envious there..
I am asking for your forgiveness, but you have every right to refuse it. I especially want to apologize to Tib, Fran and Silver Bear. I know you don't believe me right now, but we have a whole lot more in common than you think.
I am so tired of fighting and insulting people just to try to win a point. It's simply not worth it. So I am offering this olive branch in the hopes that we can all move on and let go of the anger.
You are a very close knit community. I respect and admire that. As I read the thread, I see the caring and love you all have for one another. You set an example for others to follow. I hope to do the same, no matter where I post.
Again, my very deepest apologies to SilverBear, Tibs and Fran. And, really, to all of you who have been kind to me even when my behavior was less than civil....And a shout out to Atty. I don't want to fight with you anymore...I am sorry for all of it.

i haven't seen the thread in the outside (i'll go look), but for me, the connections with people are what ECF is all about.
