She will learn in time. Cats are pretty darn smart. At least ours are.:)
Speaking of cats... My boy will go psycho kitty on me every once in a while, like tonight. He starts off licking my toes and then completely out of the blue, he tries to sink his teeth into my foot. So I pick him up by the scruff and get in his face and sternly say "NO". Then I put him down and he starts to lunge for my arm! Another scruffing and stern "NO" and a toss to the floor this time. Then he looks like he's still thinking about going in for the kill. So I just stare him down and say things like "don't even think about it" in my most threatening voice (not yelling). Finally he turns and walks away. I know who won that round! A few minutes later he's looking at me around the corner of the ottoman and I call him to come up on the couch with me, which he does. Next thing you know, he's purring and giving me kisses. o_O I should have named him Sybil.
WHAT is that about????

Silly east coast storms. Lots of flight cancellations. I'm rebooked through charlotte instead of DC, and should be only delayed by 2-3 hours. Airport wireless was down for a bit too.

get back safely, ces! another round of storms coming through over here!

That sounds like a cat to me. Mind of their own. They own you, not the other way around!! Probably thought he was a lion on the prowl. In his own mind...
