Not so bad here today, although forecast calls for rain.....actually, it's very comfortable at 66o right now!
I'll be gone for most of the day......my dear friend is in the hospital and developed septicemia (blood poisoning) after she was bitten by one of her cats. Good vibes and prayers if you're so inclined would be appreciated!

Speaking of beasties, have to help GF get her dog to the vet this a.m. (I'm assigned the lifting). Something about hips or hind quarters. Dog's been having problems, then tried to jump up onto a knee-high wall and fell backwards onto the cement and has not walked much for a few days...(just came back from the vet end of last week, and now the fall-off-wall). She isn't yelping or anything. All strange. Back to the vet...

Hope all goes well with the dog. How old is she? Sounds like she is a larger dog. Could be weakend back legs from aging, then, WHAM, falls on cement. That can't be good....good thoughts for a good outcome...I'd be a wreck!
My 14 year old is a large dog and her back legs are getting weaker and weaker, but she still loves her ball, eats, loves, and sleeps a lot.
IDK how old she is exactly....guessing about 7. Smaller dog, but heavy. She's on a diet. They suspect thyroid issues and arthritis. Doing testing. They put her on anti-inflammatory drugs and sent blood sample for testing...she must have been feeling better or she wouldn't have tried to jump up on the wall (only knee high). And now she fell.
